Happy February!
Remember we are CLOSED February Vacation the 18th-25th.
Please find details below for our winter weather school closing. The decision to close the studio due to inclement weather is made by the Directors of Ellens School of Dance . Safety is our number one priority as we consider the weather forecast, as well as street, sidewalk, and school parking lot conditions. Typically, you will be notified of the studio closing at least 1 hour prior to the start of classes.
As soon as a decision has been made, you will be notified through the following methods:
Ellens Email –We will email the email listed in your Parent Portal. Please make sure the email, and all of your child's contact information, is up to date.
Social Media - Notification will be posted on the following social media channels: Instagram (ellensdance), Twitter (@ellens_dance) & Facebook (Ellens School of Dance)
Parent Portal- There will also be a notification in the Parent Parent under Studio Announcements.
RECITAL
We are in the process of finalizing the Recital details for our 2024 Recital and we are excited to share them with you!
Dress Rehearsal is Saturday June 8th.
Recital is Sunday June 9th.
We will send out the more detailed information very soon!
Sign up for the 2024 Recital FINALE!
Participation in the Recital Finale is completely optional, due to the extra time and expense, which will be involved. The Recital Finale is the last routine in our Recital Show. Any student, kindergarten and up, that would like to take part in our Recital Finale, should sign up with this attached link without delay. Deadline to enroll is February 5th. Students are allowed 2 absences. A fee of $90.00 for a child costume and $110.00 for an adult costume will be required at time of registration. Rehearsals will be at the Billerica Studio. Details on dates and the theme will be sent out as it becomes closer. The rehearsals typically start at the end of April on Friday 4:30 pm & Saturday afternoons starting no earlier than 3:00 pm. Please be advised that more advanced sections may have more rehearsal times.

RECITAL COMBINE CLASSES
Smaller classes may be required to combine with other classes for Recital routines. Your individual teacher will be informing you soon on combined class dates. Please make every effort to attend these classes. We understand this may be an inconvenience & we thank you for your anticipated cooperation.

May 24-27th - Memorial Day - NO CLASSES
May 28th-June 1th - Recital Rehearsal Week (All Students)
June 8th - Rehearsal @ Andover Collins Center (Individual times to follow)
June 9th- RECITAL @ Andover Collins Center 11:00 am & 3:30 pm

We encourage customers to use and refer to the ESOD Website & Parent Portal. We will be updating our portal each week with the newest studio information. You are able to check balances on your account with your individual password, log in to our website, then click on the Online Payments tab to pay the amount due.
